For Holy Week, a reflective arrangement of the hymn by Fanny J. Crosby & William H. Doane. Recorded in 19th century American provincial style with djembe, mandolin, guitar, piano and bass. Rather than sound-on-sound, the harmony is live using a vocalizer, which is the reason for some of the slight swoops. When using a vocalizer, one must be exactly on pitch.
