Sometimes You Just Can't Believe the Stupid

The June Music album in a month thingie has two sort of musical themes. One is sloooooow tempos. The other is a lot of the songs have very sparse guitar parts. Neither thing was planned, they both just happened.

I kinda like this one… almost. I should have spent more time on the lead guitar, and the melody is a little tough for my voice. I should have found a better key. Lyrically, if you are curious what is getting me all pissed off today, might I suggest listening to the third verse? Sometimes you really can’t believe the stupid.

The guitars are all Gibson ES-335 into a Fender Bassbreaker 15 amp. The rhythm used a RYRA The Klone overdrive pedal. The lead used an MXR Phase 90, a Klon KTR, and a Keeley D&M Drive. The last solo used a Dunlop Crybaby instead of the Phase 90.

Chorus
sometimes
you just can’t
believe
The stupid

somedays
you don’t see
stupid
coming

Verse 1
there’s a point at whcih
its all just too much
how can anyone
be this moronic

Verse 2
take a second to
realize its this bad
you just can’t believe
they are that stupid

Verse 3
wear the face mask
just wear the damn thing
wear the face mask
just wear the damn thing
